Beauty Specialist
About the course
This qualification is for learners who want to work within the beauty industry with a National Certificate in Beauty and an International Beauty Specialist Diploma. The qualification consists of 10 modules, taught over a 1 year period, with a total of 300 guided learning hours and 300 Experiential hours. Contact tuition is conducted 1 day a week.
To achieve this full qualification, the learner would have completed the following components:

Skincare and Eye Treatments - Consultation, skin analysis, cleansing, exfoliation, facial massage, use of face masks, eyebrow shaping and lash and brow tinting
Professional Make Up - Includes recognition of face shapes and corrective make up
Manicure & Pedicure
Waxing - Includes removal of hair using hot and warm wax methods
Relaxing Back and Neck Massage

Business Administration - The learner will develop knowledge about related health and safety and client care and communication which is essential to work and be successful in the beauty industry.
